VE DAY COMMEMORATION
On Friday 8 May 2020 Britain commemorates
the 75th anniversary of VE Day when the guns
fell silent at the end of the WW2.
Due to the coronavirus restrictions VE Day 75 services and events have had to be cancelled
or postponed but to mark the occasion, share
our pride in our country and honour the men
and women of WW2 we can remember those
from the Parish of Swaffham who gave their
lives for our country.

At the present time, it will be difficult for us as a church community to give donations of food, but if you would like to continue your support for this very important work by making a monthly donation, please print and complete the Mid Norfolk Foodbank form (link below) and send it to the Dereham address shown on the form.
The Church continues to be alive and active, but our buildings must close.
We are seeing a huge increase in the number of people falling sick with COVID-19. We must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives.
Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, this and all church buildings in the Church of England are now closed.
Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in this building.
For details of how to join others online for prayer, worship, study and community life, click on the ‘Services’ button on the right hand side of this home page.
The vicar of this church can be contacted in an emergency by telephoning 01760 622241
or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength...Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no Commandment greater than these.”
To protect the vulnerable amongst us, please do not leave your home except for essential trips.
