Worship in our churches
Owing to unforeseen circumstances, our curate Revd Tori Venmore-Rowland will not be able to be ordained priest on Saturday at Norwich Cathedral: a new date will be arranged. We will be celebrating our patronal festival at St Peter & St Paul, Swaffham on Sunday 26th June at 9.30, but there will no longer be a visiting preacher. There will also be a Eucharist at St Mary, Sporle at 11.30, for the 2nd Sunday after Trinity.
Face coverings are no longer compulsory, but you are welcome to continue wearing them and all are asked to respect those who need to keep social distance. Hand sanitiser continues to be provided.
We are grateful for financial support from the wider community to enable us to keep our doors open and provide a welcome for all who visit. If you would like to make a ‘one off’ donation to Swaffham Parish Church do use the link below.
If you wish to contribute to Sporle, or more regularly, please contact us for information.
At the present time, it will be difficult for us as a church community to give donations of food, but if you would like to continue your support for this very important work by making a monthly donation, please print and complete the Mid Norfolk Foodbank form (link below) and send it to the Dereham address shown on the form.
